A SATURDAY stableford at Styal Golf Club saw the ever-consistent Steve James top Division One with 39 points, two more than Mike Burchell, Dominic Taylor, Jeffrey Chadwick and Hilton Alexander.
Keith Dawson was the main man in Division Two with 38 points from Steve Massey 37.
The previous Saturday stableford for Styal’s men had a clear winner in Simon Geddis in Division One as he posted 41 points to finish ahead of Steve James, 39, and Richard Armstead and Sam Hall, both 38.
In Division Two Andy Sharrocks was unstoppable with a huge haul of 47 points seeing him well clear of Patrick Sharrocks, 42, and Gio Porro and Richard Baldwin, both 41.
Styal ladies played their latest Winter League stableford and Helen Billington was first past the post with 31 points from Enid Laverty, 30. Mel Hill and Joan MacPherson followed in on 29.
