CRANFORD A climbed to third in the Knutsford Friday League’s top flight after beating previous incumbents Railway A this week.
There is no change at the table’s summit, with champions Mobberley Victory Hall A winning at Warford Park B and second-placed Knutsford A dropping only five chalks at home to High Legh A.
Mere A made it six wins from eight league matches, this time after seeing off Swettenham B.
Church Inn B protected an unblemished record in Division Two, ceding only six chalks to opponents Oughtrington B on Friday.
Victory Hall B proved too strong for Church Inn A, and remain in fourth position.
