KNUTSFORD suffered heartbreak after conceding a late goal to lose their latest Warrington and District Summer League encounter on Wednesday.
They succumbed to Warrington Town seconds 39-38 in the Premier Division.
Knutsford seconds were also defeated by a single-goal margin, this time 13-12, against Warrington Town sixths after playing the whole fixture short on numbers.
Beechwood thirds proved too strong for Knutsford fifths in Division Four, winning 26-6.
