JONNY Price’s versatility earned him a clean sweep of prizes at Knutsford Hockey Club’s presentation evening.
He played in a number of positions for the first team, including goalkeeper after Nick Fewtrell dislocated a shoulder, and received the players’ player of the year award.
Mat Hodge presented him the captain’s player of the year trophy too.
Second-team skipper Steve Lawrence nominated Dave Hickson, another to have made a contribution a both ends of the pitch.
The players’ nod went to Josh Lynes.
Stanier received the third team captain’s prize from Steve Hope while Ethan Starr, with unanimous support, won the players’ award.
Ladies’ captain Sarah Crabtree picked Hannah Webb while Lucy White, a goalkeeper, scooped the most improved player gong.
The team voted for Steph Barlow as best-performing player.
Knutsford will enter a summer league now the regular season is complete.
