ALREADY a two AA Rosette winning venue, The Belle Epoque on King Street has another reason to celebrate as it has just been awarded a certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor.

The award is recognition of the restaurant's consistently outstanding customer reviews.

This is not the first time the venue has been recognized and is in fact the third year in a row it has received the accolade after receiving an average of four stars by its reviewers.

Only 10 per cent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this award, which is determined on many factors including quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions submitted to the review site.

With more than 42 years history of providing diners with a truly unique and memorable experience, and accolades such as the two AA Rosettes, an AA 4 star rating and being voted a Top 100 wedding venue by Tatler and Bride magazines, its perhaps not surprising that they receive this award.

Matthew Mooney, proprietor and managing irector of The Belle Epoque, said: "It's great to see the venue and the team gaining recognition in this way. After all, there is no greater confirmation than the feedback your customer’s provide.

"I’m particularly proud because this award takes into account not just amazing feedback but the consistency of it. Many restaurants can impress for one night, but it takes real dedication, hard work and talent to do that time and time again. I couldn’t be more pleased for our Head Chef, Kevin, and the rest of our fabulous team here at The Belle Epoque.”
