THE Dun Cow, in Ollerton, has been named as the best ‘dining pub’ in Cheshire.
The popular eaterie on Chelford Road was handed the honour in the Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards, held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
Manager Mark Dightam told the Guardian the pub had been finalists in the past three year.
“The judges came round and had a food tasting and they then went away and made a decision on the quality of the pub and the food,” he said.
“The award is for the service and the food.
“We would like to thank all of our customers over the years that have supported us.”
