ONE of Knutsford’s top manufacturers has been shortlisted for the first of a new awards ceremony.
Oliver Valves in Parkgate Industrial Estate has been nominated for an accolade at the Private Business Awards, which aims to celebrate the best of the private sector.
It has been shortlisted for the Technology Innovation of the Year award which recognises companies that develop their own pioneering technology.
The business will be up against Alexander Dennis, Jaltek, Petroleum Experts and Shazam.
Michael Oliver, chairman of Oliver Valves, said: “We are honoured to be nominated.
“Oliver Twinsafe received its largest ever order of its pioneering CNSL cartridge design valves and we continue to invest heavily in R&D to maintain our position as one of the industry’s innovators.”
The winners will be announced at a dinner to be held at The Savoy Hotel, London on September 8.
