A BARMAID more used to pulling pints on Britain’s most famous street lent a helping hand at a charity day.
Actress Jennifer James, who played Geena Gregory in Coronation Street, joined in the fun at Mere Golf and Country Club during a breast cancer awareness coffee morning.
The event was organised by Leftwich woman Hannah Hunt, of Woodpecker Drive, who works in the club’s accounts department.
The 26-year-old said: “There are 70 plus people working here and I’m getting them all to wear pink, and charge them if they don’t.”
The day also included cooking demonstrations, cup cakes and painting nails pink.
