Marks & Spencer is creating hundreds of seasonal job opportunities.

More than 300 roles are available across Cheshire, including at stores in Chester, Crewe, and Warrington, as the retailer prepares for its busiest time of year.

The extra staff will help meet increased demand throughout the festive period, supporting store teams during the busiest weeks of the year, helping M&S deliver brilliant service and high standards for customers.

Joanne Bethel, regional manager at M&S, said: "Christmas is our busiest time of year and we’re looking forward to welcoming more than 300 new members of the team to our stores across Cheshire.

"Our new colleagues will play an important role in helping us deliver the magic of M&S at Christmas for our customers.

"Every day is different in retail and we are looking for new joiners who are passionate about customer service and working as a team.

"Make sure to visit our M&S Christmas careers page to find out more about the opportunities at your local store."

The roles are based at M&S stores in Cheshire Oaks, Chester, Grand Junction Crewe, Gemini in Warrington, Handforth, Widnes, Congleton, Macclesfield Barracks Mill, Nantwich, and Stockton Heath foodhalls.

Applications are now open, with the first recruits due to start from October 25.

Seasonal employees will be paid £13.41 per hour and will receive the training, tools and support needed to get up to speed quickly.

Positions are "fast-moving and hands-on," with colleagues working together to make sure customers get the very best of M&S at its busiest.
