MARBURY Country Park, near Northwich, is a picturesque spot for an autumn walk, with woodland paths, historic tree-lined avenues and attractive views across Budworth Mere.
Many of the park’s features date back to its days as a grand country estate, including its lime avenues and arboretum.
In autumn, the extensive woodland offers visitors the chance to enjoy a peaceful stroll surrounded by the changing colours of the season.
There is a good network of paths running throughout the park, making it easy to explore different areas.

Some of the most accessible routes have firm surfaces and very little gradient, although paths through the woodland can become softer during wetter weather.
Along the way, walkers can enjoy views across Budworth Mere and stop at the bird hide to look out for wildlife.
Families are also well catered for, with a children’s play area close to the picnic area and car park.
