A KNUTSFORD fish and chip shop was broken into.
Staff at Hooked on the Heath are appealing for information following a break-in.
This occurred sometime on Friday morning (September 13) before the Northwich Road hippy opened.
A staff member at the chippy said: “Unfortunately in the early hours of Friday morning we had a break in at our shop!
“If anyone has any information or CCTV or dashcam footage of our shop, car park or nearby roads between the hours of 4am and 6am please contact us or the police.
“Thank you everyone for support, especially the police and local businesses who have already offered great assistance.”

Thankfully, Hooked has been able to open as usual following the incident.
Many local residents and businesses have shared the chip shop’s Facebook post appealing for information.
“So sorry to hear this, hoping the culprits are found and dealt with,” said a spokesperson for Knutsford Olde Sweet Shoppe on King Street.
“If anyone has any information please contact the police or Hooked.”
Cheshire Police have been contacted for further information.
