Every week, the Knutsford Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have died.
As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Anthony Thomas 'Tony' Rattigan
Tony died peacefully on August 10, aged 92. He was a devoted father to Tony (late), Tricia and David, father-in-law to Catherine, Michael (Brian) and Debbie, a loving and proud grandad to Katie, Gemma, Ben, Hannah, David, Daniel, Thomas and Charlie, and great-grandad to Daisy.
Life will never be the same without you. You made our lives very special. You will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
Loving son of Thomas and Ann, husband of Maureen, brother of Jimmy, Nellie, Josie, Christy and Thomas (all now late).
Tony, previously of Gill Street L3 and Grant Road, Knotty Ash, had a long and happy retirement after a long driving career with WH Smith, Hernway Transport and Nightfreight in Bankhall, Liverpool.
He moved to Runcorn, and then Pickmere, Cheshire.
A service will be held on Tuesday, August 27, at 2pm at St Wilfrids RC Church, 142 Witton Street, Northwich, CW9 5NP, followed by burial at Gorstage Cemetery, Weaverham Road, Gorstage, CW8 2SQ.
Refreshments to follow at Hartford Hall, School Lane, Hartford, CW8 1PW, to which all family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, to Alzheimer's Society via F Hayes Funeralcare, Windy Ways, Lydyett Lane, Barnton, Northwich CW8 4JP.
Gwendolen Stanier
The 102-year-old, formerly of Knutsford, died peacefully on August 8 at Tabley House Nursing Home.
Gwen was the devoted wife of the late Wilfrid and much loved by all her family. Funeral service at Knutsford Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, August 27 at 1pm followed by interment in the cemetery.

John Bernard Lawton
The 93-year-old, originally of Wilmslow and subsequently of many places including Timoleague, Ireland; St Annes, Lancashire, and Bacton, Norfolk, sadly died on July 16.
A funeral service will be held at the Boston Crematorium chapel on Thursday, August 29 at 11.30am.
Family flowers only please but donations if desired in memory of John may be made to Hillside Animal Sanctuary, Hall Lane, Frettenham, Norwich, NR12 7LT, directly or following the service or online at muchloved.com.
