It is the third year running that Jim has secured the top prize.
Last year, he won a trophy with a Millennium berry weighing in at 29 pennyweights 6 grains.
In 2022, he was crowned victor in his debut appearance at Peover, tipping the scales with a yellow berry of the Millennium variety weighing in at 30 pennyweights and 2 grains.
Although Jim had won a first prize on many occasions, it had always been at the Allostock Gooseberry Show.
