THE opening date of Wilmslow’s newest restaurant has been confirmed.
Browns Brasserie and Bar will open for business on Thursday, June 27.
It takes over the Grade II listed 18th-century building opposite Wilmslow Station that was most recently occupied by Miller and Carter.
Major renovations have taken place, introducing a 'fresh, modern style, with luxe art deco aesthetics', while still paying homage to the building’s history.
“From intimate, cosy corners to expansive, light-filled spaces, every aspect has been meticulously curated to offer guests an unforgettable experience, with a lush outdoor drinking and dining terrace surrounded by rare and protected trees,” said a spokesperson for the restaurant chain.
Open from breakfast through to dinner, Browns serve everything from classic British comfort food and afternoon teas to fresh lobster and chateaubriand.
A set-price lunch menu is available throughout the week, with duck and watermelon salad, steak frites, smoked haddock fishcake and risotto Verde among the options.
On weekends, the venue will offer ‘Bottomless Champagne Brunch’ with guests able to choose from a selection of brunch dishes and unlimited Moet and Chandon Imperial Champagne until 2pm.
For those looking for something a little more traditional, every Sunday diners can enjoy a roast accompanied by live piano music.
The bar will be serving a range of hand-crafted cocktails and wines, which can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace.
