Police speed enforcement checks caught 49 drivers on camera exceeding a 30mph speed limit.
The fastest vehicle was travelling at 43mph.
Road safety checks were carried out on Northwich Road in Knutsford and Knutsford Road in Chelford.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “A total of 49 vehicles were caught speeding with the fastest going at 43mph.
“The maximum speed limit for these roads is 30mph, but some drivers ignore the signs and put all road users at risk including property.”
