A TESLA driver from Holmes Chapel has been banned from the roads after getting behind the wheel while over the alcohol limit.
Ryan Jones, of Severn Way, was travelling along St Martins Way in Chester when he was caught on April 14 earlier this year.
The 30-year-old was given a breath test which revealed he had 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Jones appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on May 10 where he pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
Taking his admission into account, magistrates disqualified Jones from driving for 14 months and fined him £496.
Jones was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £198 surcharge.
