ALL three emergency services attended the scene of a serious collision on the A65 between Draughton and Addingham near Chelker Reservoir today.

The road was closed in both directions and motorists told to avoid the area and find an alternative route.

The road was fully closed for two hours.

A travel report by INRIX at 1.30pm says: "A65 Addingham Wharfedale Road Eastbound partially blocked, heavy traffic due to earlier accident between Height Lane (Draughton) and Skipton Road (Addingham). The road was closed for around two hours, the westbound direction has reopened."

North Yorkshire Police have been contacted for further details.
