DRIVERS blocking pavements are being fined as police crackdown on illegal parking.
Knutsford police issued a fixed penalty notices to vehicles on Wellfield Close.
A spokesman for Knutsford Police said “Vehicles were issued with fixed penalty notices for fully parking on the pavement causing unnecessary obstruction to pedestrians, prams and wheelchair users by forcing them onto a busy road.

“Drivers should be more considerate when parking.”
Police have already issued fixed penalty notices to drivers in other parts of Knutsford for blocking pavements and junctions.
