WORKERS swapped their bank for the classroom to give a Knutsford school a facelift.

Staff at Barclays gave up time through their initiative of volunteering days to give Knutsford Academy a new look.

The team redecorated and upgraded the changing room facilities and outdoor area of the Westfield Drive site.

A £1,000 grant was given to the school to fund materials and the project took two days to complete.

Headteacher Karen Key said: “We are very grateful to Barclays staff who gave of their time to provide some much needed additional help and support for the school.
