FAMILIES and residents are invited to a community crib service.
The mayor of Knutsford will present a Christmas message at the annual festive event at 4pm on Saturday, December 9.
Cllr Peter Coan has also chosen some of his favourite carols and the mayor’s chaplain, Rev Paul Deakin will take the service.

Children from St Vincent’s RC Primary School will lead the carols, accompanied by the City of Chester Brass Band.
The service will be held outside the Lost and Found pub and cocktail bar on Princess Street.
Complimentary mulled wine and mince pies will be served by Knutsford Catenians.
