THE 10 roads given the most parking tickets by Cheshire East Council have been revealed.
A total of 25,811 penalty charge notices (PCNs) were handed out in the borough in 2022, data obtained from the council under the Freedom of Information Act shows.
The unitary authority collected £850,352.22 from parking tickets last year.
The data shows that Wilmslow is among the top Cheshire East locations for PCNs, with six of its streets among the 10 most-ticketed roads in the area.
However, top of the pile is King Street in Knutsford, where 434 fines were handed out in 2022.
