A POWER cut has left homes and businesses without electricity.
There is currently a power cut affecting Knutsford, Alderley Edge and Mobberley.
Residents in the SK9, WA15 and WA16 areas of Cheshire are impacted.
SP Energy Networks said there was "no advance warning" of this power cut and they were first made aware of it at 11.48am.
"Our engineers are en route to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible," a spokesperson said.
"We expect your electricity supply to be restored by 2 pm.
"If you require any further help or support, please call us on 105. The latest updates can be found on our website www.spenergynetworks.co.uk.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
Among those affected by the power cut is Ark Veterinary Surgery.
A post on the vets Facebook page read: "Unfortunately we have had a power cut at our Mobberley branch.
"Our phone lines are currently not working.
"For any emergencies or enquiries please contact the Northwich surgery on 01606 810777.
"We apologize for the inconvenience."
