AN artisan bakery is opening a new shop in Knutsford next week.
GAIL’s Bakery has transformed the former HSBC bank on Princess Street, which closed in June.
Queues are expected when the doors open on Friday, November 3.

A timber deck outdoor seating area has been created and alterations have been made to the building.
The renowned London-based bakery is known for its house blend coffee, selection of homemade artisan breads such as the classic San Francisco sourdough, sweet and savoury seasonal items including pastries and cakes, as well as fresh sandwiches made daily.
The company has been expanding into the north since its first site opened in Wilmslow in February.
This will be the second one in Cheshire and the fifth in the north west.
A spokesman for GAIL’s said: ”The new opening in Knutsford is expected to be just as bustling as the other north west sites, with the branch set to open in the centre of the market town.
“The new site is expected to be a popular addition to Knutsford, a town that is already home to multiple schools and small businesses, and in close proximity to Tatton Park.
“It is sure to be a success amongst locals, families and visitors alike.”
GAIL’s first bakery opened in London’s Hampstead High Street in 2005, following the success of their wholesale business, The Bread Factory.
This was founded by GAIL Meija in the 90s and continues to operate today, supplying restaurants across London.
