A MASSIVE fire has ripped through a barn containing bales of hay in Cranage.
Five fire engines and a rapid response vehicle tackled the blaze on Byley Lane.
Crews were called at 2am today, Thursday, and worked throughout the night.
Firefighters are still at the scene.

These dramatic pictures show the extent of the barn fire.
Firefighters found the barn, measuring around 30 metres by 10 metres, well ablaze.
Firefighters used hose reel jets and covering jets to bring the fire under control.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A fire investigation will be carried out once it is safe to do so.”
Fire engines from Middlewich, Holmes Chapel, Winsford, Crewe and Congleton dealt with the incident with a rapid response vehicle from Middlewich.
