FOODIE families in Knutsford were very much in their element at the weekend.
Award-winning farm shop and eatery, the Lambing Shed, hosted customers at its Birthday Barnyard Bash to mark 8 years in business on Saturday, September 23.
The good weather held as revellers enjoyed a sumptuous hog roast with all the trimmings; a chance to meet the farm animals; music from singer and pianist Emma Gilmour; a butchery demo; and the Lambing Shed Bake-off competition, judged by their in-house pastry chef.

Lambing Shed director, Kathryn Mitchell, said: “Well the weather held, which is half the battle.
“We got lucky as one of our sows had piglets the day before. I think she must’ve known.
“And two of the lambs from last year, Jingle and Jangle, raised a few eyebrows with visitors. They’re actual sheep now.

“We just wanted to show our gratitude and profound appreciation for our lovely customers’ unwavering support.
“A massive thank you to the local community for supporting our family run business.”
