DRIVERS in Knutsford could face prosecution if they continue to flout the law.
The warning comes as some motorists have been ignoring signs on Minshull Street and making a 'dangerous manoeuvre'.
Police say drivers are turning right at the bottom onto King Street, when they can only turn left.

A spokesman for Knutsford Police issued this warning on social media: “There is heavy traffic congestion due to roadworks.
“Police have been made aware that some vehicles have been driving the wrong way on Minshull Street by ignoring the sign and turning right at the bottom of the street onto King Street, when they can only turn left, and immediately turning left onto Egerton Square.
“The police will be monitoring the situation as clearly this action could result in an accident.
“Any vehicles found committing this dangerous manoeuvre will be prosecuted.”
