THE last two alfresco dining sessions this summer have been cancelled.
Plans to host outdoor eating on the streets of Knutsford on Saturday, August 26 and Saturday, September 16 are no longer going ahead.
Knutsford Town Council made the decision to call off the events due to ‘inclement weather’.
Scattered showers are expected.

A spokesman for Knutsford Town Council said: “The two alfresco dining days scheduled for August 26th and September 16th have been cancelled.
“This is after discussion with the venues involved.
“Unfortunately the inclement weather and cancellation clauses mean it is too risky for the venues involved to commit.
“This summer's weather has been a disappointment to all.
“However, we are ever the optimists and are talking to the hospitality venues for future dates for 2024.”
