TOP achievers at King’s School are celebrating ‘outstanding' A-level results at King’s School.
Almost 50 per cent of grades were either A* or A with seven students achieving three A*s.
In addition, 80 per cent of grades were A* to B with around a third of students scoring three As or above.

Head Jason Slack was delighted and paid tribute to the students, highlighting their work ethic and commitment.
He said: “This cohort has worked exceptionally hard and thoroughly deserve these wonderful results.
“To consistently perform at the highest level requires sustained commitment and these students have demonstrated that they have what it takes.
“In addition, they have developed the character and broader skills necessary to meet the challenges of the modern world through a wide range of extra-curricular interests and I look forward to hearing of their success in the future.
“I couldn’t be more proud of them.”
Oliver Lewer-Sotiriou, 18, of Knutsford, gained As in economics and business and Bs in politics and his extended project qualification (EPQ).
Oliver is now heading to Exeter to study applied finance as part of a degree apprenticeship with leading global finance firm JP Morgan.
Ashton Nulty, 18, of Knutsford, achieved As in economics and business, and a B in psychology.
And he’ll shortly be heading off to Sheffield to study accounting and finance.

Loryn Robinson, 18, who gained As in English language and biology and a B in chemistry, is heading to Warwick to study accounting and finance.
Sammy Earnshaw, 18, from Alderley Edge, gained A*s in chemistry, biology, maths and further maths and is off to Durham to read chemistry.
Owen Branthwaite, 18, from Wilmslow, is heading to Jesus College, Cambridge to read maths after gaining four A*s in maths, further maths, chemistry and physics.
Top class climber Emma Edwards, 18, secured an A* in biology and As in chemistry and maths.
Emma is in the Great Britain climbing team and finished seventh in the European Youth Cup in Graz.
Thomas Whitney, who gained three As in history, economics and chemistry plus an A* in his EPQ is off to Sheffield to read economics.
He hopes to work in finance.
