A NEW bus has been rerouted to reach more residents.
The number 312 between Wilmslow and Handforth Dean, operated by D and G Buses, will now serve the Lacey Green estate.
The service was introduced using section 106 funding from local developments to support infrastructure and local services.
The change follows a council review.

A spokesman for Cheshire East Council said: “It’s hoped this variation to the route will meet with the approval of residents who’ve called for the service to operate through the estate, allowing more journey opportunities.
“Passenger use will be monitored for up to two years to assess the popularity of the service and inform a decision on the new route’s long term sustainability.”
