GIFTED jazz musicians who perform all over the world are staging a concert in Knutsford.

Jazz in the Church returns to St John’s Church at 7.30pm on Friday, September 1.

Internationally acclaimed jazz clarinettist, saxophonist and vocalist Adrian Cox, who featured in the first concert a year ago, is coming back with a world class piano trio.

The 39-year-old is one of the leading exponents of New Orleans Clarinet and has a huge wealth of knowledge for the music and players of the era.

Adrian has shared the concert stage with Wynton Marsalis in London and New York and spends most of his life on tour around the world.

In 2022, he performed in 27 countries.

Adrian will be backed by Tom Kincaid on piano, Tim Williams on bass and Jack Cotterill on drums.

Jack, who is promoting the concert, said: “Adrian is certainly performing at the top of his game.

“His unrivalled feel and virtuosity for the music he plays has led to concerts with some of the biggest names in jazz.”

Tickets priced £20 are available from Tatton Perk coffee shop on Moor Park for cash only.

Under 16s accompanied by a paying adult are free.

Guests can bring their own drinks. Plastic glasses will be provided.
