POLICE clocked 56 drivers speeding on a residential road in Knutsford.
A speed check on Mereside Road yesterday, Thursday, caught one driver on camera hurtling along at 52mph in a 30mph zone.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “A speed enforcement operation has been carried out on Mereside Road in Knutsford and 56 cars were caught by the Trucam.

“The fastest was driving at 52mph on a 30mph zone.
“Please reduce your speed when driving as you put other road users at risk.”
