There are high hopes and ambitions for the 147-year-old club to exceed what was a very successful 2022.
The men's team went 17 games unbeaten during one period, culminating in them reaching the Cheshire Shield Final.
Mobberley were chosen to host the event versus Romiley, a testament to the quality and setting of the ground.
What a day the final turned out to be with spectators young and old ringing the boundary, glorious weather, an excellent game, barbecue and pizza.
The club have been sustained throughout history by players young and old, committees, benefactors and supporters alike, enabling the club to maintain a strong and sustainable presence both on and off the field.
It is a village club that have promoted and enjoyed a touring history including visits to Malaysia and Yorkshire, a village club which have hosted international cricket, a village club totally inclusive, respectful of its past and ambitious for its future.
A new coach and programmes are to be announced soon.
