TATTON A are the new Knutsford and District Amateur Snooker League champions.
A thrilling title race went down to the final round of matches but it was Tatton, led by captain Rob Clarke, who emerged victorious.
They sealed the trophy with a 5-2 victory over Mobberley C – the second of consecutive victories by the same scoreline to ensure they held off Morley Green’s late charge.
It has been an incredible season for Tatton, who have topped the table since Week Nine and finished the league campaign with an impressive record of 16 wins from 22 matches.
The season could get even better for them, given they are also in the upcoming Team Knockout final and also have representation in the H Astle Pairs and TC Jay Trophy finals nights.
