The burglary occurred between February 16 and 26.

Detectives are now asking people who live in the area to check CCTV cameras and dashcam in case they may have captured anything which could help their investigation.

Residents are urged to be vigilant and review their home security.

Police say burglars target windows as they can offer easier access than doors.

Householders are warned to remove any potential access points such as bins or garden furniture.

Keeping your property visible is important.

Lower fences at the front are preferable to high fences as they allow for a clear view over the top and don’t provide cover for anyone wishing to hide.

At the rear and sides, taller fencing is recommended to prevent easy access.

Trellis, thorny plants or plastic spikes make it difficult for anyone climbing over a fence or gate.

Planting prickly or barbed shrubbery along boundaries and fences acts as an effective natural barrier.

Residents are advised to make sure tools and garages are kept locked and secure.
