“I have thoroughly enjoyed the past 20 years of my career with Bupa, it has been great to progress in such a rewarding role.”

Lisa joined Bupa in 2003 and worked at Hazelmere Bupa Care Home for more than 10 years as a care assistant.

She trained to become a senior carer and later gained her management diploma.

In 2013, she became care manager on the residential dementia unit at Brookview.

Lisa said: “The best advice I can offer to those thinking of getting into the care sector is to be passionate about taking care of people and be invested in the care setting.

“You will know in your heart if you have the right attitude to care.

“Most importantly, be patient and dedicated.”

“She truly is an inspiration to us all.”
