BBC 2 Folk Award winners and nominees will perform in Knutsford Little Theatre and St John’s Church.
Fringe events will be held in bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants throughout the weekend.
Friday Night Blues will also make a comeback after a sell out show last year, which was hosted at Brook Street Chapel Hall.
Open mic nights, acoustic music, bands and DJ nights will celebrate the skill and talents of local performers.
Music on the Moor, a much loved free event, will see live music, refreshments and activities for all ages from 12 noon until 4pm.
Refreshments on the moor behind King Street car park will be provided by local food and drink vendors.
The search is now on for more artists wishing to perform.
Anyone interested can apply by emailing info@knutsfordmusicfestival.com to apply.
Full plans for this year’s festival programme will be confirmed in the coming months.
