A CLASSIC comedy is being staged at Knutsford Little Theatre.

‘The Ladykillers’ from the hit production featuring Akec Guinness and Peter Sellers promises plenty of fun and laughter.

The stage adaptation of the Ealing film is being performed until November 19.

Director Tony Turner said: ”I’ve always loved the original film and the challenge of directing this production was too good to resist.

“It was written for the stage by Graham Linehan, author of the hit TV series Father Ted and the IT Crowd.

“The cast and crew have been amazing in their response and are still laughing out loud.

“All of the hard work and effort both on and off stage over the last eight weeks has really paid off.

“This is set to be another outstanding production.”

The theatre in Queens Street is only a few minutes from the town centre.

Three plays and a panto are staged every year.
