WILMSLOW Running Festival 2023 was only launched a few weeks ago yet entries area already flooding in.
The event will be held on Sunday, March 26.
The iconic Waters Wilmslow Half Marathon, regularly voted one of the top road races in the UK by readers of Runner’s World magazine, is now in its 39th year.
The festival again has the Asics 10k race and also a fun run, in partnership with Running Bear.
To bring the whole community together, the 10k has a team prize for all non running clubs.
The festival has teamed up this year with the Running Bee Foundation.
This foundation champions health and wellbeing initiatives, promoting the benefits of an active lifestyle and help in the fight to reduce childhood obesity.
This organisation makes funding accessible to all parts of the communities that they serve, with no restriction on age, financial status, religion, or gender.
The Wilmslow Running Festival is a charity and working each year with charity partners has raised more than a million pounds.
