A MAN has been hit with a £1,000 fine for threatening another person.

Paul Boden, of Chapel Road, Alderley Edge, pleaded not guilty at Stockport Magistrates Court on September 6 to using abusive or threatening words and behaviour.

The court heard evidence of an incident in Wilmslow on December 14, last year, in which the 56-year-old threatened another person.
