A COURIER has pledged to support families in need.
Speedy Freight in Knutsford has vowed to continue helping Hope Central's foodbank which provided 75,000 meals for adults and children last year.
The company will donate £250 per month throughout 2022 and staff have offered to volunteer.
In 2021, the charity supported more than 600 families and supplied food for 1,458 people, including 852 adults and 606 children. Fresh fruit, vegetables and groceries were packed into 4,000 parcels with enough emergency food for three days.
Their team also delivered 5,500 meals on wheels for The Welcome.

Speedy Freight managing director Mike Smith said: “The work done by Hope Central over the last 12 months has been nothing short of inspiring.
“They’re working tirelessly to support the community and will continue to do so as long as there are those in need.
“To accompany our monthly donation, our team will also be volunteering at Hope Central, helping to provide food parcels to anyone who needs them.”
