PRE-SEASON training starts for Knutsford Rugby Club’s senior players tonight, Thursday.
New players are welcome to attend what will be weekly Thursday sessions from 7.30pm at the Toft training pitch, situated on the playing fields to the right before Booths Hall.
Sale Sharks scrum-half Will Cliff will be maintaining a helping hand with head coach Chris Edmonds, and game related fitness will be on the menu in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Knutsford will be running two senior teams, with the first XV set to start the season at Altrincham Kersal Cougars in Halbro North West League Division Two on Saturday, September 3. The second XV will be playing in Halbro North West Division Four.
Newcomers will find the club offers a vibrant and varied social scene too, with the first event planned for the official start of the junior season on Sunday, September 4.
