A MOTORIST driving without insurance has been hit with a £800 court bill.

Sasha Walsh, of St John’s Road, Knutsford, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle without third party insurance at Oxford Magistrates Court on June 21.

The 32-year-old admitted committing the offence at Witan Gate, Milton Keynes, in Buckinghamshire, on April 4, this year.

Walsh was fined £660 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £66 victim surcharge.

Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.

Magistrates took her guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.

The defendant was given until July 19 to pay the £816 court penalty.
