POLICE closed a country road in Knutsford yesterday evening, Tuesday, after a three-vehicle collision.
At 5.20pm, two fire crews from Knutsford and Lymm responded to Middlewich Road where three cars had been involved in a crash.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed: "All occupants were out of their vehicles and the crew gave first aid to two people as a precaution.
"The vehicles were made safe by the crew who also used environmental pads to absorb liquid leaking from the vehicles at the scene.
"Police attended and closed the road while the incident was dealt with."
