TEN feline friends are looking for a new home.

Would you like to be a pet owner and look after one of Cat Protection Warrington’s furry friends?

All cats are neutered, microchipped and have had the first dose of their vaccines – adopters may be required to have the second dose administered by their vet.

They’ve been treated for fleas and worms and are litter trained.

Any health issues will be discussed and full medical notes will be provided if adoption goes ahead.

If you would like to be considered as the new owner of one of these 10 cats, ring 03000120612 or email warrington@cats.org.uk

Adoption applications can be made by visiting www.cats.org.uk/warrington and all meetings are scheduled via appointment, as the centre is no longer open to the public.

Korma

Korma

Korma is a two-year-old female. She is lovely and affectionate with human friends but she can be a bit of a diva with other cats and would prefer to be the only feline of the house so she can have her new owner’s full attention.

Special requirements: No children, no other pets, access to outside

Bernie

Bernie

Bernie is a three-year-old male. He is lovely and friendly and would make the perfect addition to any household. He loves attention and fuss and has a lovely loud purr. He is also very playful and likes nothing more than to play with his toys.

Special requirements: Has a urinary issue, which is currently controlled with supplements. Occasionally, he gets chin acne that will need bathing. He has only lived with adults but may be ok with children and other pets. Needs access to outside.

Mommy

Mommy

Mommy is a three-year-old female who was living as a stray with her kittens when she was found. She is a beautiful girl with a lovely nature and would make the perfect addition to any home.

Special requirements: As she is a stray, not much is known about her. She is ok with adults and may be ok with children and pets. Needs outdoor access.

Masu

Masu

Masu is just nine months old. He was a stray so not much is known about him. He came to Cats Protection care after living as a stray and he had a wound on his back which has been treated. His injury hasn’t put him off being a super friendly and affectionate boy who loves attention.

Special requirements: He is ok with adults and may be ok with older children and other pets. Needs access to outside.

Chris Baguette

Chris Baguette

Chris Baguette is a 14-year-old male cat who certainly doesn’t act his age. He likes to play with string toys and plastic balls and is a lovely affectionate boy who enjoys a good fuss. He has been known to enjoy spending his time curled up on a lap.

Special requirements: Chris has spondylosis which he takes medication for on a daily basis but he takes it well with no trouble. He can live with adults, children and other cats but we’re not sure how he is around dogs. Needs outdoor access.

Liam

Liam

Liam is a one-year-old male who is very handsome. He can be a bit wary at first, keeping his beady eye on you, but soon relaxes and enjoys the fuss and attention.

Special requirements: As he was a stray, not much is known about him. If he were to live with children or other pets he would need lots of time to settle in and then slow introductions to his new friends. Needs outdoor access.

Gilbert

Gilbert

Gilbert is nine years old who is very chatty and has been enjoying regular fuss from staff and volunteers. Staff think he’d like a home where he can balance his day between fuss and exploring outdoors. In his previous home, Gilbert loved to spend a lot of time outside so would like a nice garden that he can potter around in.

Special requirements: A quiet, calm home with no children under 12. He may be ok with other pets if introduced slowly. He needs outdoor access.

Mischief

Mischief

Mischief is 10 and despite his name he is an easy going boy who enjoys a fuss and napping in his bed in the sun. His bed can move to his new home. He loves breakfast time and likes to greet staff at the door ready for his food. He also enjoys hanging out with the centre’s volunteers, curling up on a lap and having a cuddle.

Special requirements: He can live with adults and children and may be ok with other pets. He needs access to outside.

Cookie

Cookie

Cookie is a 15-year-old female and is an older and more distinguished lady looking to retire in the comfort of a warm cosy bed with lots of cuddles and affections from a lovely new owner.

Special requirements: She has a grade four heart murmur and more information is available from centre staff on how to deal with this. Unfortunately, she can’t live with children or dogs but is ok with other cats. She needs outdoor access.

Missy

Missy

Missy is just 18 months old and is very loving. She loves gentle headbutts and kisses. She can be wary around younger children but has lived with other cats before.

Special requirements: No young children but may be ok with older ones aged 12 or over. She can live with other cats and may be ok with dogs but we can’t be sure. Needs outdoor access.

Volunteer roles at Cats Protection Warrington are available and there are several community fundraising events scheduled for the summer.
