A TOFT draw with Oxton on Saturday put an end to a run of three successive victories.

Ewan Williams, 70, and James Scott, 76 and 4-48, were the main contributors as Toft ended on 258/8 with Oxton finishing on 163/8.

The previous week, Toft won by 211 runs at Brooklands with in-form Rob Jones scoring 97 in 273/7.

Jones scored centuries in the three matches before that, 119 as Toft beat Oulton Park by six wickets, 138 as his side won by 37 runs at Chester Boughton Hall and 105 in a seven-wicket loss to Hyde.
