Visitors can enter their own dogs into fun competitions including prettiest pooch, waggiest tail and dog most like their owner.

Lion president Paul Buttrick said: “There’s also plenty of food and drink on sale so come along and enjoy the many attractions and activities as we celebrate Her Majesty’s 70-year reign together.

“After the disappointments over the last couple of years because of Covid and stormy weather, we must be due a dry sunny day.”

Live music will provided by Enoch’s Hammer Country Dance Band and Birchwood Brass Band.

Charity and trade stalls will offer lots of items for sale.

A barbecue will be run by Knutsford Scouts and a variety food and drink will be available.

The fair is in aid of local charities.
