THIS year’s Lion’s Fair is being held to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The annual event on The Heath will take place from 11am to 4pm on Friday, June 3.
The family fun day features donkey rides, frisbee golf, fairground rides, children’s games and welly wanging.
Displays of dog agility and obedience will be staged by Cheshire K9 Training.

Visitors can enter their own dogs into fun competitions including prettiest pooch, waggiest tail and dog most like their owner.
Lion president Paul Buttrick said: “There’s also plenty of food and drink on sale so come along and enjoy the many attractions and activities as we celebrate Her Majesty’s 70-year reign together.
“After the disappointments over the last couple of years because of Covid and stormy weather, we must be due a dry sunny day.”
Live music will provided by Enoch’s Hammer Country Dance Band and Birchwood Brass Band.
Charity and trade stalls will offer lots of items for sale.
A barbecue will be run by Knutsford Scouts and a variety food and drink will be available.
The fair is in aid of local charities.
