PLAYERS past and present came together to share their memories of Toft Cricket Club and learn about the exciting plans for the club's future.

Following on from its inaugural family fun day, the club held a past and present players evening on April 29 where all nine past club captains from the last 40 years were in attendance.

The evening was part of the continued launch of the club's fundraising project for a new pavilion.

Past captain and current director of cricket at the club Andrew Hodgson, who organised the event, said: "We want to continue to engage with as many people as possible to set out our future pavilion plans, and there is no better way than to re-connect with past and present players who all have wonderful memories of playing and being associated with the club."

Club chairmain Nigel Muirhead added: “This is an important few years for Toft on and off the field and being able to welcome more than 80 past and present players continues to build excitement and momentum about our future plans.
