A MAN has been put on the sex offenders register after admitting flashing offences in Knutsford on two separate occasions.

Andrew Douse, 43, of Mayfield Road, Mobberley, pleaded guilty to two charges of indecent exposure at Stockport Magistrates Court on April 22.

The defendant admitted intentionally exposing his genitals in Knutsford on November 4, last year and on September 24, 2020.

Douse was given a community order and must participate in an accredited programme for 35 days.

Magistrates put him on the sex offenders register for five years.

The defendant must attend the Horizon Accredited Programme when directed by a supervising officer.

Douse must comply with any instructions and participate in any activity as required by an officer for up to 50 days.

In addition, he must carry out 150 hours of supervised unpaid work within the next 12 months.

Douse was also ordered to pay £600 compensation, £85 costs and £95 victim surcharge.

Magistrates took his guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.

The defendant was given permission to pay the £780 court penalty at a rate of £200 per month starting on May 18.
