A NEW cocktail bar hailed as ‘lively and stylish’ is opening inside an iconic Knutsford building.
The Courthouse will welcome its first customers on Friday evening in time for the Easter holiday weekend.
The 200-year-old Grade II listed building has been transformed into a swish bar, restaurant, event venue and boutique hotel.
To celebrate, guests will be offered 20 per cent off all food and drink during the opening weekend.

Terry Mugan, marketing manager of Flat Cap Hotels, said: “We’re massively excited.
“There is nowhere else like this in Knutsford.
“It will be very lively and stylish with a real buzz and energy around it.
“We’ll have live music, great cocktails and great food.”
The former Knutsford Crown Court in the centre of the town has been completely revamped.
Brunch and lunch, celebrating local produce, will be served all day, followed by dinner in the evening.
Live musicians and DJs will perform on a mezzanine level above the bar every weekend.
A selection of cocktails will be prepared by expert mixologists.
Nine boutique rooms have been designed with style and sophistication, some with four poster beds.
Pooches can stay and will be offered a doggy prosecco, Flat Cap dog tag and sausage breakfast.
Weddings, birthdays, hen nights, private functions and charity events can also be hosted at the new look venue.
The ballroom will be dressed at the weekend so couples will be able to see how special it is.
Staff can’t wait to welcome their first guests.
“It is a little bit different and has changed massively," said Terry.
“There is a tree in the middle of the bar. Everyone will want to pose there on Instagram.”
Flat Cap Hotels also own The Vicarage in Holmes Chapel and The Bridge in Prestbury.
