A NEW cocktail bar hailed as ‘lively and stylish’ is opening inside an iconic Knutsford building.

The Courthouse will welcome its first customers on Friday evening in time for the Easter holiday weekend.

The 200-year-old Grade II listed building has been transformed into a swish bar, restaurant, event venue and boutique hotel.

To celebrate, guests will be offered 20 per cent off all food and drink during the opening weekend.

The former Knutsford Crown Court in the centre of the town has been completely revamped.

Brunch and lunch, celebrating local produce, will be served all day, followed by dinner in the evening.

Live musicians and DJs will perform on a mezzanine level above the bar every weekend.

A selection of cocktails will be prepared by expert mixologists.

Nine boutique rooms have been designed with style and sophistication, some with four poster beds.
