A STUNNING electronic music and light show which lit up an ancient church has been hailed a huge success.
BBC broadcaster Mark Radcliffe and friend Paul Langley, who both live in Knutsford, performed a charity concert as the duo Une.
Knusford Lions staged the event in St John’s Parish Church to raise funds for The Christie and two local children’s charities, Passion for Learning and Cheshire Young Carers.
The pair played evocative music synchronised to images on big screens and laser effects from Hipswing.

Paul said: “With Mark and I being local, it was wonderful to present the show in our home town.
“The atmosphere and the venue were perfect and the audience so supportive.
“We were delighted to join with Knutsford Lions to help raise funds for local charities, especially The Christie where Mark was treated last year.”
Mark, 63, was treated for head and neck cancer, requiring the removal of tumours from his neck and mouth.
The illness forced him to spend several months off air but he has since returned to present his BBC Radio 2 Folk Show and a 6 music show.
Paul Buttrick, president of Knutsford Lions, said: “What a fabulous evening we’ve had.
“I’m very grateful to Paul and Mark for joining with Knutsford Lions in this wonderful church which is perfect for these types of events raising funds for local charities.
“We are also very grateful to local businesses who donated to our prize draw.”
Local venue Wine and Wallop provided a mobile bar.
